Personality:Exudes a calm aura, always wearing a relaxed, warm smile. Percevaint has a keen mind and attention to detail that have helped him getting far in life, allowing to develop a resourceful, highly adaptable mindset. He's always trying to find solutions, even for the smallest of conundrums. His patience is capable to outweigh most of things... And people. When it comes to work, Percevaint is a very industrious individual: he rarely does something that lacks purpose behind it.

Context:Coming from a long line of scholars, Percevaint graduated from the Studium at age 17 after pursuing a mention in Aetherology, among other subjects. He stayed post-graduation to help in many research efforts offered by more than one faculty, allowing him to learn about many themes. His calling, however, he found within field research and exploration, offering his skills to the gleaners guildship. After years of travelling, Percevaint got to know most of Etheirys' cultures and locations, while documenting all of his findings to help the Motherland with its pursuit and preservation of knowledge.After "paying his dues" in a scholarly context, he decided to make use of his family's wealth to help other fellow citizens building new things or to discover new horizons... His main objective, however, is to give all of them a place on which they could feel at home while doing the first two.

Help Wanted

Percevaint's routine is comprised of many, many tasks, spanning from utterly boring and trivial, to making the impossible... Well, possible. There's always something new and/or urgent that needs to be done. Lots of tasks and just one pair of hands. You can become a trusted collaborator, or friend, if you only answer to his call for help!

The Studium's quite the big building, and many go through its wide halls. It wouldn't have been that hard to run into someone that went in and out for years, or would it? As a student, as a worker... And just because. Either a landmark, or an eyesore... Up to you!

Flora and Fauna

They say that knowledge maketh gleaner. Well... That, or an absurd amount of time and energy to go from place A to B either in a wild goose chase or in a methodical way of tracking down an objective. If you, stranger, need help with plant specimens or information about Etheirys' wildlife... He's your guy.

House Surgate

One of the first few settlers in what used to be the Isle of Val. House Surgate helped by building a port and a town house, asides from producing new scholars from diverse disciplines to help Sharlayan's progress, by supporting research efforts and the construction of laboratories across the island, until Val disappeared in a strange but widely known incident, taking many lives in the process... Among them, the better part of their family tree that remained in the island.

Warden of the Arcane

Those Sharlayans who meddle with the forbidden and unknown magicks, will know all too well about the Forum's reach around the star. Operatives sent from the Motherland to protect and preserve knowledge... Or hiding in plain sight everywhere. Violating the nation's most sacred rules to ensure the population's safety might put you in the sights of the most unlikely of individuals to enforce them.

- Hi there! The name's [redacted] and I'm Percevaint's writer. I am not from North America, but I'm around the EST zone when it comes to availability.- Important: I do NOT engage in public roleplaying. This site's only purpose is to be a showcase of my character for established RP friends or people recommended by them. Too much stuff going on won't allow me to give you the attention that you, and your character, truly deserve. I hope you understand this, and accept my apologies beforehand :(- When it comes to pacing: I'm anything but a hardcore roleplayer these days when it comes to scene length or consecutive sessions, so it's mostly slow paces writing three or four times a month at most. So please, don't rush, unless you need to because of time constraints. If so, then tell me beforehand. For that reason, I prefer short term stuff or very sporadic scenes.- My main language is Spanish, but I always try my best with English as a second language. Sometimes, however, I will get lost in translation, or express myself in somewhat of an awkward/strange way when trying to convey an idea or two, ending up being something that I probably did not mean. Please keep this in mind!- Discord, yes... But let's talk for a while first. If there's something you'd like to know about rules, boundaries, preferred themes and overall roleplaying etiquette, I would rather talk about it than finding out as a ""surprise"". Putting that same list that everyone has won't tell me anything. Knowing you, fellow writer, will tell me all I need to know in due time.......... If you were expecting to read the usual "IC is not OOC" or the "I'm not my character keep separate... yadda yadda" stuff...
